THE United Generation Choir from Edmonds, Washington will be visiting Tavistock this month, as guests of the town's Methodist Church.

The 48-strong choir, with singers ranging from the age of 14 to 24, arrives in the town on Thursday, June 28.

On June 29 they will be visiting St?Andrew's School, Buckland Monachorum, performing for the whole school as well as leading some music workshops with various classes.

The following day, the choir will be in concert at Tavistock Methodist Church at 7pm. Admission is free although there will be a collection.

The singers will also be taking part in the Sunday worship service at the Methodist church at 10.45am on July 1, before they leave to return to the United States the following day.
