A MEMORY stick containing personal data and information about children with special needs has found its way to West Devon.
Susan Howard, a grandmother from North Tawton, was handed a computer memory stick by a member of her family who discovered it on a service station floor in Somerset a few weeks ago.
The data on the stick included names and birth dates of children as well as behavioural problems they may suffer from.
Mrs Howard said she was 'shocked' and felt the information could be dangerous if it fell into the wrong hands.
She added that she would like to find whoever had lost the stick as they must be 'devastated'.
The memory stick has now been handed to Devon and Cornwall Police who will be using their hi-tech crime unit to analyse the data to try and discern where it has come from.
