Tavistock U11s 12 Okehampton U11s 28 OKEHAMPTON travelled to Tavistock with a strong team and quickly took a two try to nil advantage. The first was a strong solo effort from the in-form forward, Chris Courtier. The second from scrum half, Matt Johns, was a break from the scrum on half way and he ran around the backs to score in the corner. Another from Matt Johns before half time, all successfully converted by him, saw the away team clear at the half. A few changes to both sides took time to settle and Tavistock saw the advantage with two tries gained out of some confusion in the Okehampton ranks. As the half wore on, Okehampton found their stride again and finished strongly, with Chris Courtier getting his second after a good spell of attacking play. Good displays from Oliver Kirby and Sam Cooper worthy of mention.
