TAVISTOCK firefighters were called to Lydford Gorge last Thursday after after the third accident in 15 days involving a fall on slippery rocks.
A 32-year-old visitor broke her elbow and ambulance staff administered pain relief and treatment at the scene.
Station officer Tim Smith is advising people to wear sensible shoes like walking boots at the site.
?On this occasion the lady was wearing the right kind of shoes for the environment but it is frequently not the case ? I saw people down there wearing flip flops,? he said.
