BRIXHAM and Paignton were the destinations for the most recent outing by the New Tamar Valley Friendship Club.

During the stop for coffee at Brixham, members were able to see a replica of the boat in which Sir Francis Drake circumnavigated the world. During their visit to Paignton, they visited the cafés, restaurants and shops.

Such was the success of the visit that a repeat visit to Brixham was due to take place yesterday (Wednesday), to explore the habour and town further.
