VINTAGE engines ploughing the fields at the annual working day near Whiddon Down on Sunday drew more than 200 people.
The event at Gooseford Farm, which was raising money for St John Ambulance, attracted steam engines and vintage tractors from Cornwall and was organised by the East and North Dartmoor Vintage Working Society.
Mike Bailey from the society said the steam ploughing engines in particular created a lot of interest and it was hoped the event would be bigger and better next year, perhaps over two days.
He expressed thanks to everyone who came along and helped organise the day.
The club is looking for more members and anyone interested can contact Mr Bailey on 07855 402143.
