ELECTORS in Stoke Climsland will be going to the polls today (Thursday) to select two people to serve on the parish council.
The by election has been caused by the resignation of two sitting parish councillors in May and is thought to be the first contested election in the parish for more than 20 years.
Voters will be able to choose from three candidates for the two seats — Sue Tudor, Sandra West and John Wilmut .
The polling stations, which are located at Stoke Climsland Parish Hall, Luckett Social Club and The Caravan, 'Squirrels', Old Mill Lane, Lower Downgate, will be open between 7am and 10 pm.
