THE first of a regular event in Horrabridge saw plenty of appetising items on offer.

The new village market was launched last Saturday. It is the brainchild of youth club members, whose club is situated in Fillace Lane.

Youngsters from the club were involved in the market — it will be held on the first Saturday of every month, between 10am and 1pm to raise funds for the club. The next is on Saturday, April 2.

Youth worker Charlotte Carpenter said the market is open to anyone who wished to sell produce, cakes and crafts at just £5 per table.
