IT IS less than a month away from South Zeal Carnival and organisers are encouraging as many local people to take part as possible. The aim is to keep up the good attendance of floats and walking entries ? and make sure the talent and creativity of the parish residents come to the fore. Stewards are also being sought to help out during the evening on Saturday October 8. If anyone can spare three hours of their time they can call Dawn on 01837 840946 or Andy on 840443 . All profits from the carnival, which starts at 2pm, will go to the Children?s Hospice South West and the British Heart Foundation.
