AN eminent Brahmin priest travelled to West Devon from London on Monday to bless the new £7- million care village being built at Hatherleigh. The state of the art village will comprise a 50-bed nursing and residential home along with ten specially designed apartments for the elderly. The village will be run by PSP Healthcare Ltd — a company created in in 2005 by brothers Preyen and Shrien Dewani and their father Prakash Dewani. The site's blessing ceremony was carried out by Raju bhai Mehta, who performed the wedding ceremony for Preyen and his new wife Kripa in Mumbai recently. The special ceremony included prayers and peace mantras culminating in a prayer for peace and unity throughout the world.
