THIS is probably the result of the season for South Zeal as Motel are top of the table with an excellent home record.
Motel looked as if they would stretch their led at the top, when they scored after just a few minutes after a mix up in the Zeal defence.
But Zeal hit back quickly when Gary Smith's cross was headed past his own keeper by a Motel defender to make it 1-1.
Smith was also influential in Zeal's second when his through-ball was picked up by Steve Pillivant, whose run was ended inside the area by a cynical challenge. Pillivant converted the penalty to give Zeal a slender but deserved lead.
Zeal's goalie Adam Cann turned provider when his long clearance enabled Alan Vile to break the offside trap and slot the ball coolly past the keeper to give Zeal a comfortable two goal lead at half time.
Zeal defended stoutly in the second half with great performances all round. The fourth goal came via a long pass that found Alan Brimacombe in space and his pull back was tucked away by Vile for his second of the game.
