VICTIM Support, a national charity that helps people to cope with crime, needs volunteers now and is seeking them in the South Zeal, Sticklepath, Throwleigh and Belstone areas.

The organisation, whose volunteers are appropriately trained, assists victims and witnesses of crime and provides free and confidential emotional support, practical help and information. Witnesses who attend court are also fully supported.

The charity is looking for additional volunteers who are understanding, good listeners and who can empathise with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
