FBI, a vibrant band of local musicians, will present their special tribute to The Shadows when they appear at The Wharf, Tavistock at the beginning of next month. Formed in Devon two years ago, FBI are popular with audiences on the UK club circuit. They have played in major towns and cities throughout the country, including London, Manchester, Birmingham and Blackpool. The members of the band are lead guitarist, Glen Turner; Phil Bowden (rhythm guitar); Jonathon Barry, bass guitarist and Ally Day on drums. After The Shadows? tribute section of the show at The Wharf, FBI will play rock ?n? roll favourites from the 1950s and ?60s. The original Shadows were an English rock instrumental band, fronted by Hank B Marvin, which was formed in 1958 as a backing group for Sir Cliff Richard. The Shadows enjoyed 34 hits in their own right and another 33 through their partnership with Cliff Richard. ?Move It? and ?Apache? were two of the massive, chart-topping successes associated with the original Shadows.
