LEDOWN notched another win to keep their unbeaten run going.

But they took a good 20 minutes to get into this game in wet and slippery conditions

Lewdown started creating chances and were rewarded with a class move, an inch-perfect pass from Paul Perkins to Rich Metters, who finished in style.

Lewdown started the second half brightly and put Saltash under pressure. Lewdown?s Mike Townsend hit the bar as did Saltash.

Lewdown got the crucial second goal eight minutes from time, a well finished one from Adrian Vernon after a nice lay-off from Metters.

A hard fought win but Lewdown secured the three points needed to close the gap at the top.
