Pupils at Whitchurch Community Primary School took part in a Roman themed workshop, linked with their history topic for the term. Activities included investigating ancient artefacts as well as dressing up in Roman style armour. The day concluded with a re-enactment of a Roman battle incorporating shields the children had been set the challenge to create over the summer break. Picture by James Bird
