I WOULD like to draw attention to the 'near-miss' I had recently on the Abbey Bridge roundabout in?Tavistock.
I know the white line is almost obliterated, but what gives drivers the right to come down Abbey Rise at speed with no indication and shoot across into Dolvin Road when cars are almost across the road from the Post Office side by which time it is too late to stop?
I am almost sorry the young lady in the blue jeep managed to stop before going into the side of my car because I think in spite of the, give way to traffic on the right rule, she would have been found wanting.
In the winter it is a bit easier to judge the speed but now with the copper beech in full leaf the road is blind. I don't think I am alone in this observation.
