A MAN from Okehampton has asked this week that anyone with information on cars being vandalised in the town to go to the police, after the badge was ripped off his car on Saturday night.

Howard Carslake lives on Station Road, and found that the badge on his Mercedes has been ripped off by vandals last Saturday night.

He said: 'Things like this are so needless and infuriating.

'It's not the first time this has happened on Station Road, I am sure.

'My car has been keyed before, and I have seen others scratched in the same way too.

'It's so unnecessary, and it really angers me.

'Hopefully the police can find out who has been doing this and put a stop to it.'
