OKEHAMPTON businesswoman Vanga Pollock was released from hospital earlier this week after recovering from a double stabbing incident at her home last week.

Macedonian-born Mrs Pollock, 52, from Okehampton suffered injuries to her neck, face and arms. Her brother Ilce ?Iko? Vukov, 48, died from stab wounds, at the scene.

Police were called to the house in Berryball Close on Sunday night, November 9 after neighbours heard shouting and screaming. Mrs Pollock was airlifted to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, where she made good progress after surgery.

A post-mortem examination on Mr Vukov?s body, undertaken at North Devon District Hospital in Barnstaple, found that he died as a result of an incised wound to the neck.
