POLICE are warning people to be aware of potential danger following vandalism of the lighting system at the all-weather sports pitch in Okehampton.
PC Mark Hoar said there was a possibility of electric shock if anyone decided to tamper with the system, and he is urging people to keep away.
Police are treating the incident over the weekend of July 14/15 as criminal damage. If anyone has information they should call PC Hoar at Okehampton Police Station on 08705 777444.
