ONE fire appliance was deployed to reports of a van on fire near Lifton Farm Shop.

Upon arrival, crews from Launceston Fire Station found a small fire in the engine compartment of a van.

The fire was out on arrival and crews used one hose reel jet to dampen down the engine and inspected and made the van safe using small tools.
