THE Tamar Valley's photographic exhibition, Resounding Images, is to be shown at Buckland Abbey from May 4 to 16. The exhibition has been touring the area for the past seven months and highlights the valley and Tavistock's role within the World Heritage Site area. The collection featuring six top South West photographers captures the West Devon area, comprising the Tamar Valley and Tavistock areas, showing how mining has shaped the landscape, the wildlife that thrives there, mine sites, transport, the river and the people that now live among the mining remains. The exhibition will be open from 10.30am to 5pm every day except Thursday and normal National Trust admission charges will apply. For further information contact 01579 351681.
