PLAY went from end to end with Tavistock holding their own. Villa took first blood and soon found themselves 3-0 up despite Tavistock's valiant efforts.
Tavistock fought back and after a fortunate but true ball from McGowan found the feet of Quartmain who went on to score.
Tavistock looked like they were back in it. Half-time saw Villa bring on fresh legs after which followed goal after goal.
Sarah Blowey had an excellent game and was called upon to clear the ball time and time again.
Tavistock battled away with Donna Birch scoring from what seemed an impossible angle.
McGowan and Blowey, strong in defence, kept Villa at bay for most of the second half, but despite hard work from all the players Villa went on to win.
