BEFORE we start looking to build multi-story car parks, can we start using the space we have a bit better? I am not sure how much wider cars are than longer, but on the road oposite Specsavers, how about painting some lines to indicate that instead of parallel parking, cars are parked at right angles to the kerb or at an angle uproad. Likewise where the road is overly wide by Lynbridge dentists. Perhaps someone in the council could Google map Tavistock with a ruler and find all the roads wide enough to do this.
