AN URGENT call is being made for two secure parking spaces for Tavistock Ring and Ride service’s minibuses.

The current parking arrangement at the Molly Owen centre at Pixon Lane is due to finish on July 29 and it is vital that a new overnight location for the minibuses is found so drivers can access them easily to take passengers into town and around the area.

Hannah Humphries from Ring and Ride said: ‘We work very much in the community in Tavistock so we need parking somewhere in town if possible. It can be on the outskirts but it needs to be somewhere our drivers can get to fairly easily — a safe and secure location where they can park two minibuses overnight would be ideal.’
