THISTLES came to this match on a high and dominated the early stages of the game. Early Thistles pressure resulted in a goal which was disallowed but moments later they took the lead with a goal from Dominic Evans.
But this lead was short lived as Weston Mill came back strongly into the game and forced an equaliser. Thistles remained under pressure for the rest of the half and only some good keeping by Max Koch and defending by Ben Gentle kept the scores level at half time.
The second half started as the first had finished, and Weston Mill made the pressure tell with a scrambled goal early in the half. This seemed to kick start Thistles again with Dylan Metcalf dominating the midfield and Morgan Warnett creating chances, but unfortunately they could not convert them.
Thistles continued to press but could not break through the good defence from the Plymouth side.
