The new Thistles under 18s were unlucky not to come away with 3 points in a game they clearly deserved to win.
It did not take long for this new team to gel together, the back four of Dan Credicott, Phil Peers, Jason Webber and Al Jowett were solid and good coverage was made by all of them. Keeper Ashley Woodrow had some excellent saves.
The opening goal from Thistles came from Steve Gibbings? cracking header, the second from Ben Stephens mopping up skills.
The midfield of Julian Bracey-Davis and Luke Huxham, who was sub for an injured Seb Krotke, fed through to Lee Wickett.
Dale Mullen battled through and fought for every ball.
