Oasis cup final Okehampton Argyle U12s 2 Colyton U12s 3 ARGYLE made a fantastic start at this final played in Honiton and were controlling the game, but it was well into the first half before Gostling opened the scoring for Argyle with a shot from a wide left position. Colyton soon hit back with an equaliser and at half time the match was evenly balanced. Colyton then took the lead a few minutes after the restart, hitting Okehampton on the break. Argyle battled back and there were chances at both ends — Hurley making some great saves. Argyle then equalised with a tremendous free kick from Gostling. However, Colyton responded again as the Okehampton defence did not deal with a long ball over the top and Hurley, despite his best effort, was beaten by the shot going in off his far post. Argyle showed great spirit and tried their hardest to come back with Burns hitting the Colyton crossbar a minute from the end of play. Okehampton, defeated by a useful Colyton side, now need to refocus on maintaining their place at the top of the league.
