TAVISTOCK'S churches are again working together this year to put on an Easter celebration of the 'Risen' Jesus.

It will take place on Easter Monday, April 1, from 7.30pm to 9pm in the town hall.

Last year's event saw the hall filled to capacity and this year there will be inspirational music, drama and singing with something for everyone and every taste.

The music will be led by Tavistock's Unite Youth Choir, and directed by Tracy Harding.

David Palmer, chairman of Tavistock Area Christians Together, said: 'This year we are again anticipating a full house and a real atmosphere of God's presence and his love for the people of the Tavistock area.

'It is a great opportunity for the Church to declare in unity God's plans and blessings over our community and to see the spiritual climate we live in change for the better.'

This event is hosted by all Christian groups in the Tavistock Area.
