Liskeard 7

FROM the first whistle Tavistock/North Tawton took the game to Liskeard, running through their defence.

The first try for Tavistock/North Tawton was by Clare White, playing out of position on the wing.

Strong tackling by Debbie Ward and all the forwards upset Liskeard and the referee who gave a penalty try to the visitors.

Emily Johns scored four tries, all from the halfway line.

Zoe Colton ran some good lines which saw her go over for two tries after some good tackling and rucking. Clare Kelly also went over twice.

With a minute left White powered over for her second of the match.

Terry Easton converted five.

The whole team deserved player of the match.

This week a league game against Redruth, 2pm kick-off.
