Conditions were tough due to rain in the preceding 24 hours, but this did not dampen the spirits of those competing.
The under 11s have started to carry on from where they left off last season and are opening up a lead on the other clubs.
Emma Passmore in the U11 girls ran exceptionally well to gain second place, as did the other two girls gaining their best results in the last two years.
In the U15 boys Rob Jinman carried on from the previous weekend to gain third place as did Jean Witcher in the senior ladies.
This week sees Tavistock Athletic Club travel to Saltram house where hopefully numbers will be higher.
