North/Okes U13s 5

NORTH/OKES started slow and lazy, allowing Chiefs to put early points on the score sheet, using their powerful number eight peeling off the back of a scrum and taking the blind channel.

North/Okes settled into the game for the next quarter.

Scrum half Ben Sharp was held up on the line but the forwards recycled the ball and eventually Rhys Palmer went over on the wing.

Chiefs ran in three soft trys after the break due to poor tackling and heads started to drop for North/Okes, until Ollie Cribbimms made a lovely break up field.

It again resulted in a turnover ball which Chiefs scrum half took on, but Frank Smith made sure he tackled his man, saving North/Okes from further defeat.

Matt Milton stole many line-out balls and showed great strength around the pitch, ripping balls off Chiefs' forwards but the second half was to be Chiefs' and North/Okes just could not retain the pace.
