Cup semi final Okeh'ton Argyle U14s 2 Exmouth U14s 1 Okehampton knew they were in for a tough game against Exmouth having lost to them in both league fixtures. With Corey Burns standing in for Haydn Bond in goal Okehampton soon had to defend strongly but Exmouth managed to nip in and grab a quick goal. Okehampton did not give in and came back to score from a good corner by Brad which found Ben's head to make it 1-1. Corey continued to work well in goal and pulled off some great saves. The defence of Ben, Alex and Tom remained strong, with Ollie Squire supporting the defence having a great game, and Harry, Luke and Tom Boother playing some great football in midfield. Okehampton were awarded a free kick which Ben took well and after a goalmouth scramble Andy put them into the lead. Andy and Brad both worked hard on the wings and Brad was unlucky not to score when his shot just skimmed over the bar. The second half started with Okehampton still pushing up and remaining strong. Exmouth were beginning to panic and the referee booked two of their players. After some nail biting from the spectators the final whistle went with Okehampton through to the final.
