BARNSTAPLE took advantage of a slow start by Argyle, and despite Jack Stanbury?s good efforts in defence, soon scored their first goal.

Continued pressure led to a succession of goals for SAS with the score by half-time 5-0 to Barnstaple SAS.

A change in formation seemed to give Argyle a positive start to the second half, substitutes Sam Thomas and Simon Fellowes making their mark helping Argyle put pressure on Barnstaple SAS. Argyle had several shots at the opposition goal without success.

The good team work of Argyle finally paid off, with Jacob Ayris scoring half way through the second half.

Good defence by Argyle ensured that Barnstaple SAS were not able to make any further opportunities, but Argyle failed to find the opportunity to score any more goals.
