EMERGENCY services were called to the scene of a serious road collision on the A30 near Lifton on Friday.

The collision of two cars happened at around 2pm. A woman sustained serious leg injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital for treatment.

The road was re-opened at around 10pm after a full examination of the scene had taken place.
