FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in a pottery shed which had spread to a summerhouse in Mount Pleasant, Callington, on July 9.

Two crews from Callington Fire Station, with a total of eight firefighters on board, and one crew from Saltash, with a crew of six, attended at 8.10pm.

On their arrival, firefighters found the 3m x 3m shed, which is used for pottery making, and the summerhouse were involved in the fire.

Two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets were used to extinguish the fires.

The fire was deemed to be accidental.
