FIREFIGHTERS were called to a property in Milton Combe at the weekend to free two children who were trapped in a bedroom.

One crew and an off-road vehicle for access from Yelverton were sent to The Green at Milton Combe just before 9pm on Saturday, January 31, after a report that the children had been accidentally locked in a first floor bedroom.

The crews released the two children unharmed, using a ladder for access and small tools.
