THE ladies of Yelverton Golf Club held their Turkey Trot competition last Thursday.

There was a large turnout of ladies, all eager to win a turkey, and prizes for everyone.

The silver division was won by Laura Eastwood with a tremendous 36 points, second was Kay Creaven and third was Dawn Bolt. The bronze division was won by Angie Howard with 28 points, second was Evelyn Dyche and third was Penny Hunter.

The ladies have their gift day competition followed by Christmas lunch on December 15, then there will be roll-ups and friendly competitions for those who have time to play golf during the festive season.
