AS a member of MABRAKE (Milton Abbot, Bradstone and Kelly Action Group), and a major landowner, I would like to alert your readers to the disaster that wind turbine developers Aardvark wish to impose upon Milton Abbot, Kelly and Bradstone.

They intend to erect two giant wind turbines on Ramsdown, one overlooking Milton Abbot, the other dominating the skyline at Borough Cross, just above Kelly House and Meadow.

These two 220ft to tip turbines will soar above the famous Lutyens designed Milton Abbot village, as well as Grade II Listed Kelly House.

You can have your say at Milton Abbot Village Hall on September 15 at 6.30pm, when the developers, MABRAKE and the parish council meet to discuss this hot topic. Our aim is to persuade Milton Abbot Parish Council to recommend rejection of these schemes to WDBC. Bradstone and Kelly have already done so, I believe.

Please vote for rejection as well, and save our beautiful countryside from these rapacious developers.
