OKEHAMPTON Excelsior Silver Band will play their spring concert later this month to support a cancer charity helping people in the area.

The band will hold the concert on Thursday April 25 to raise money for FORCE — Friends of the Oncology and Radiotherapy Centre, Exeter.

The charity supports people in the area suffering from cancer, and last year completed an extension on their specialist cancer support and information centre.

Doors to the Charter Hall open at 7.30pm, with tickets costing £4 per person, free for under 16s, available from Donald's Menswear, the Victorian Tea Pantry and band members.

Tickets include tea and coffee.
