AS A conclusion to the tsunami fundraising effort in Okehampton, the Rotary Club have today transferred the grand sum of £12,820 to the Rotary Club of Sri Lanka for the start of the school building project at the Morakaketiara School. As reported earlier, part of this school will be known as Okehampton College and there will be links between both Okehampton Colleges. Once again, may we offer a sincere thank you to each club, school, organisation and individual in and around Okehampton who gave so willingly to this cause.
