WEST Devon-based children's charity The Mary Budding Trust has recently donated £300 to Horrabridge Primary School, which has enabled the school to buy five story sacks.

The special sacks are particularly intended to help the hearing impaired children at the school, but can also be used by pupils in the reception, year 1 and year 2 classes.

The story sacks include popular favourite The Gruffalo and Jack and the Beanstalk.

Staff and pupils are very grateful for the kind donation by the trust, which supports primary school children with special needs throughout the West Devon area.
