A WEST Devon hotel has achieved glowing recognition from the world's largest travel site, TripAdvisor, with a 2011 Certificate of Excellence.
TripAdvisor awards the certificate to properties who consistently receive excellent ratings from the site's members.
Now in the fourth year of ownership by Fi and Chris Daly, the Prince Hall Hotel at Two Bridges, near Princetown, is enjoying rave reviews for its first class food and service, lauded as a Dartmoor gem.
Head chef, Nick Platts, takes pride in creating a traditional English seasonal menu with a 'unique gastronomic flair', using locally sourced or home-grown ingredients. The hotel is also frequently commended for its warm welcome and incredibly dog friendly approach.
Fi Daly said: 'We are thrilled to receive recognition for excellent feedback. We go out of our way to make sure visitors feel nothing is too much trouble, whether they are here for a cream tea or a week away.
'The menu is a credit to our chefs and it's fabulous to achieve such an accolade from the people who matter most, our guests.'
