A TREE will be planted at Burrator Reservoir next week to commemorate the life of Anne Frank.

West Devon drivers urged to report animal collisions after casualty riseTwo young people, who attended World Youth Day in Krakow last year and Auschwitz-Birkenau, will be planting a horse chestnut tree in Burrator Arboretum on Saturday, February 4, to commemorate Anne Frank’s life and all those children throughout the world, who have been killed through wars and persecution.
The planting will be followed by a blessing of the tree by Father Louis Rieunier and a one-minute silence as an act of remembrance.
The event has been organised by David Hemmings, a local resident and regular visitor to Burrator, and supported by South West Lakes Trust.
