AS one way to resolve the impasse over the trees in Tavistock?s two cemeteries perhaps the protesters would pay for an arboricultural survey to be carried out.
My next door neighbour experienced a similar problem and paid for this examination which proved infestation of honey fungus.
After suitable surgery this oak has been saved ? at least for a while.
I am happy to provide the name of the firm who undertook this examination.
Of course, it would not be fair to expect disinterested council tax payers to meet the cost, but I am sure the local authority would not object to a private survey being undertaken by those wishing to retain these tees.
