A YOUNG Tavistock man with suspected spinal injuries was taken to Derriford Hospital on Tuesday after being trapped beneath the bonnet of a car he was repairing.
Two ambulances and a fire engine were called to the garage in Buctor Park in the early afternoon.
The fire crew had to remove the bonnet before the 29-year-old man could be transferred to a special spinal injury stretcher and driven to Derriford.
