A PERSON was trapped in their car following an accident in Okehampton on Friday.

Three appliances, two from Okehampton and one from North Tawton were mobilised at 7.40am following a report of a road traffic collision on New Road, with one person still trapped inside the vehicle.

On arrival, crews found all persons to be free and clear of the vehicle, and made the scene safe.
