MORE than 50 people, including the mayors of West Devon and Tavistock, attended the launch of 'Transport for YOUR Community' at the Anchorage Centre in Tavistock.

Everyone saw what a difference local charities make in delivering local services to older and disabled people living in West Devon through community transport.

These services are crucial to local people, giving them vast opportunities of getting out and about and hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Community transport ranges from wheelchair accessible minibuses run by Ring and Ride and TASS to Country Bus, voluntary car services and TaviMOBILITY,

'Transport for YOUR Community' is a partnership by all local community transport groups, supported by Devon County Council community transport department and GM Coachworks.
