I WISH to express anger and frustration on behalf of many people who attended the war memorial in Tavistock on Sunday morning, November 11.
The Remembrance Day service was conducted against a background of noise of cars, lorries and buses driving through Bedford Square.
The traffic did stop briefly, but only for the duration of the two minute silence. Is it too much to ask that vehicles be diverted away from the square for half an hour once a year to allow us to pay our respects in peace?
