A FORMER Tavistock College student has graduated from Supply Training Squadron at RAF Halton after completing trade training.
Leading Aircraftwoman Joanne Daniels, 17, from Dippertown, Lifton, will now be posted to RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire, where her skills will be used supporting the front-line air transport station.
Squadron Leader Graham Brewer, Officer Commanding supply training, said Joanne had done well and proven to be one of the best trainees this year. ?There is an ongoing requirement for supply and logistics staff in the RAF and this has resulted in the recruitment of some talented youngsters?, he said.
Joanne said she had enjoyed both learning a new trade and also the intiital recruit training, especially the passing out ceremony.
