OKEHAMPTON firefighters attended a tractor fire in a barn on Evergreen Farm in Ashwater before 10pm last Wednesday. The Okehampton crew, along with one from Holsworthy and a water bowser from Barnstaple, used two hose reels and four breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze. The single storey Dutch barn contained one farm tractor which was severely damaged by the fire.
